La Alliance Premier League 1979–80 è stata la stagione inaugurale della Alliance Premier League , la prima lega al di fuori della Football League a coprire l'intera Inghilterra.

Panoramica

Tra il 1979 e il 2004 l'Alliance Premier League a divisione singola ha formato il livello 5 del sistema di campionato di calcio inglese. Dal 2004 sono state aggiunte due divisioni regionali al livello 6 .

I membri fondatori dell'Alliance Premier League provenivano dalla Southern League e dalla Northern Premier League , coprendo il paese da Yeovil Town nel sud-ovest a Barrow nell'estremo nord. Ha partecipato anche un club del Galles , Bangor City .

Elezione alla Football League
