Storia
Il ristorante è stato fondato nel 1983 dalla coppia di sposi Betsy Alger e Jim Black. Il nome del ristorante deriva da uno sketch comico di Peter Cook e Dudley Moore .

Chef e proprietario residente
Nel maggio 2012 Lefebvre ha acquistato il ristorante. Lefebvre era lo chef esecutivo del ristorante dal 2001. Era nato nel 1969 a Edison, nel New Jersey ed è cresciuto a Sea Girt, nel New Jersey . Lefebvre si è laureato alla Wake Forest University e poi ha fatto domanda al Culinary Institute of America . Dopo la laurea, ha lavorato brevemente al The Frog and the Peach, ma poi è andato a lavorare da Aureole , Lespinasse e Dan's in Main Street a Metuchen, nel New Jersey, prima di tornare a Frog and Peach nel 2000 come sous chef .
