Peabody e Stearns - Peabody and Stearns

Peabody & Stearns è stato uno dei principali studi di architettura negli Stati Uniti orientali alla fine del XIX secolo e all'inizio del XX secolo. Con sede a Boston, Massachusetts , l'azienda era composta da Robert Swain Peabody (1845-1917) e John Goddard Stearns Jr. (1843-1917). L'azienda ha lavorato su una varietà di design, ma è strettamente associata allo stile di scandole .

Con l'aggiunta di Pierce P. Furber , presumibilmente come socio, l'azienda diventa Peabody, Stearns & Furber . L'azienda fu in seguito sostituita da W. Cornell Appleton, uno degli architetti di Peabody & Stearns, e Frank Stearns, figlio di Frank, come Appleton & Stearns .
