Tunç Başaran (1 ottobre 1938-18 dicembre 2019) è stato uno sceneggiatore , regista , produttore cinematografico e attore turco .

Biografia

Dopo aver frequentato per un po 'la Facoltà di Lettere, ha lasciato la scuola e ha iniziato a lavorare come sceneggiatore per il regista Memduh Ün . Ha poi continuato a essere l'assistente di Memduh Ün per molto tempo. Nel frattempo, ha anche lavorato come assistente per registi come Ömer Lütfi Akad , Halit Refiğ , Atıf Yılmaz , Ertem Göreç. Nel 1964 dirige il suo primo lungometraggio Survival . Nel 1962 aveva diretto circa 40 film. Dopo il 1972, è passato alla pubblicità. Ha diretto Don't Let Them Shoot The Kite nel 1989. Ha fatto parte del comitato consultivo dell'Istanbul International Film Festival .
